Current Major Closures

• May 19, 2026 to May 28, 2026:

  Rutherford Road from Vellore Woods Blvd. to just east of Canada’s Wonderland Dr. will be milled and repaved under nightly closures. During the nightly closures, Rutherford Road traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

Lane and Ramp Closures

Highway 400 northbound and southbound, spanning from south of Langstaff Road to north of Major Mackenzie Drive, will experience temporary lane closures throughout the project’s construction. Nighttime lane closures are also expected.

These closures are necessary to facilitate the permanent widening of the highway and the replacement of existing culverts. The project aims to enhance transportation infrastructure and traffic flow.
